new directions, we are looking to build out the team with a senior marketing
manager who has world class experience leading all efforts related to product
marketing, including innovation, agency management and strategy development.
Headquartered in Bakersfield in California’s
fertile San Joaquin Valley, Bolthouse Farms is one of the largest carrot
growers in the U.S. and makes and sells refrigerated premium juices, beverages
and salad dressings
Manager works closely with the Director of Marketing
in leading the development and implementation of marketing
strategy. The individual will work with a cross-functional team to
drive the business and commercialize products. This position will
sit within the Bolthouse Farms Marketing Team and will be located in
Santa Monica, CA. The position will
require travel to the Bakersfield HQ frequently.
Thinking: Contribute to developing comprehensive brand strategy, taking
into account consumer, category, market trends and retail dynamics. Able to
confidently present strategic, data-driven recommendations to senior team.
Innovation: Ability to identify, research and commercialize opportunities
for new product and packaging innovation that align with our brand strategies
and help deliver our annual operating plan.
Analytics: Able to use syndicated, consumer and customer data to identify
business insights and recommend solutions that optimize results. Guide direct report in developing
monthly/quarterly business reviews and ad-hoc analysis.
Manages the briefing & development of consumer communication plans in
collaboration with our internal agency.
Marketing: Understands the business at an account/channel level and
collaborates to develop custom marketing programs to drive the business in
Manager: Ability to lead large cross-functional projects with multiple
stakeholders, complex inputs, and time sensitive deadlines; effectively manages
workload by prioritizing and multi-tasking.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency to drive impact.

Highly skilled at being agile and can pivot priorities, strategies, and
initiatives, on a dime
Strong communicator and collaborator with an ability to inspire and
influence others, either as the leader or as a member of the team.
Have a deep understanding of how to read, interpret and build
models from syndicated data such as IRI or Nielsen
Strong project management skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal communication and team working skills
Experience leading and launching new innovation
Experience working with an (internal) agency to develop marketing
Previous experience leading and working on cross-functional teams
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment
Proven, reliable work history
Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
Minimum of 3 years of brand management experience in food CPG
Direct experience in
food categories is strongly preferred
